Released on April 22nd, the second episode of the last season of “Game of Thrones” contains so many surprises. In this episode, Jon Snow reveals to Daenerys his real identity; i.e. he is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne.
After the second episode of the last season of “Game of Thrones”, Emilia Clarke wants to set things in perfect order. During a slight intimate conversation between Emilia and Daenerys, the latter endeavors to gain the support of Emilia by admitting her deep love towards her brother, Jon.
However, Emilia is wondering about what would happen after the big battle of Winterfell, which shocks Daenerys and apparently roils her wide smile. Moreover, her reaction to the revelations of Jon Snow did not please all spectators; noting that the actress was keen to defend her character.
In this episode, entitled A Knight of the Seven Crowns, Jon reveals to Daenerys his real identity in the crypt near the statue of his mother Lyanna Stark. The one who responded so far to the sweet name of “Bastard”, teaches Khaleesi that he is the son of Lyanna Stark and Rhaegar Targaryen. Meanwhile, he tells his lover that he is actually her nephew.
Anyone in this situation would have frozen at the bottom of the vault; yet, Daenerys has immediately thought of the upheaval of the estate and, therefore, the Iron Throne. The American Media Entertainment Weekly has interviewed the actress following this disappointing reply for Jon Snow. According to her, this new kinship counteracts the career goals of the Dragon Mother.
